Definition of Classes
(as definied by the Kennel Club of Pakistan)

In all the championship shows authorised by the Kennel Club of Pakistan, dogs are judged in the following classes:
- Minor Puppy (6 t 9 months old)
- Puppy (9 to 12 months old)
- Junior (12 to 18 months old)
- Youth (18 to 24 months old)
- Open (24+ months)
Each dog entered is graded and placed by the judge. The dogs in the Open Class are graded Excellent, Vergy Good, Good and Satisfactory.
The dogs in the Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and Youth Classes are graded Very Good, Good, Average and Not Satisfactory. Therefore, VG-1 is the highest grading a dog entered in the Minor Pupy to Youth Classes can get.
Dogs qualifying for Junior and Youth Classes are also eligible to compete in the Open Class.
