My name is Farid Ahmad Qureshi. I live in the beautiful city of Lahore-Pakistan. Mr. Imran Mehmood is a very good friend of mine and he is also very knowledgeable about the breed. We both participate as a team in the dog shows.

I have been involved in rottweilers since 1994, and I think it is the most devoted and loyal breed and they always want to please their owners. The great thing about rottweiler character and temperament is the ability to live in any kind of situations.

Taking on a rottweiler that will grow into a big, powerful animal is a great responsibility. Before taking a step it is essential to decide whether a rottweiler is the right breed for you and your family, because it requires space, training and socializing to become a good companion.

When choosing a breeding stock always look for temperament, character, conformation, type and quality. Sire and dam of a litter should always be chosen to improve each other weak points and strengthen the good points. All this should be decided not merely on appearance (PHENOTYPE) but also on (GENOTYPE) and progeny.

When you are planning to breed a litter it is essential to choose good representatives of the breed, which are sound in temperament and confirmation. So when you breed correctly it can be moulded into the kind of dog its master desires it to be, whether just a family pet, a beautiful show dog, guard dog or an attack-trained dog.

It is important that the animals having serious faults like bite problem, light eye colour, poor conformation or substance, poor temperament, shyness, nervousness or too aggressive should not be bred, because the puppies they bring into the world will do nothing to improve the Rottweiler breed.

If you want to keep a healthy rottweiler you should give it a balance diet, groom it daily and provide lots of exercise and praise, this will keep you dog energetic and full of life.
