Subak Rottweiler Kennel (vom SRK) has dogs from some of the Best German and European Bloodlines. I am a code of ethics breeder. My goal is to produce high quality Rottweilers that are genetically sound, are exceptional in head type, bone and substance, are true in conformation and structure and most of all are true companions for all homes.

I have always kept dogs as pet since my childhood but it was in 1986 that I got my first pedigreed Rottweilers. There was a male and two females from a famous kennel in England. Since then I got interested only in Rottweilers. My mentor and sage as far as this breed is concerned was the esteemed (Late) Lt. Gen. Habibullah Khan Khattak. He was the “guru” of Rottweilers in Pakistan. General Sahib was probably the first one to import and breed Rottweilers of substance in this country. After I acquired my basic knowledge from him, I quickly learned that the Rottweiler is among the most devoted and loyal of all breeds, developing strong attachment to its owner.

My next Rottweiler I brought back myself from United States. He was Brutus de Jaco who quickly won his championship in Pakistan. Brutus finally passed away of old age, but my family and I will always hold him very close to our hearts.

Along the generations, the Rottweiler type has changed, with more powerful bone structure and head. This evolution can clearly be seen with the history of the Rottweiler, which will celebrate in 2007 the 100th anniversary of its official selection!

I wanted to take a professional route before I started breeding Rottweilers. I first planned out my breeding programme and based it on pure German and European lines. Afterwards I searched and imported the dogs with the kind of bloodlines I wanted to work with. I follow and breed strictly according to the ADRK rules. My first litter “A” was born on 9th July 2004 from which 2 males, Achilles Vom SRK and Amboss Vom SRK have both been placed Best in Show. The female puppy from my litter “C”, Carra Vom SRK has been placed Best in Show 4 times!

My one last note of advice for Rottweiler lovers would be that mutual companionship and association are essential between a Rottweiler and its owner. Without it the dog will not be at its best, nor develop the true personality, which makes the breed so special to those who understand and appreciate these dogs.
